I have a quick status update on the publishing journey for Blazing Tiger Book 3, which involves some good news and some... well, ironic timing.

First, the great news! The manuscript has been officially submitted to the U.S. Copyright Office for registration. This is always an exciting final step before launch.

Now, for the irony: in a turn of events you just can't make up, the government has entered a shutdown, and the copyright office is temporarily closed.

Here’s the most important part: This does NOT affect the book's release.

Copyright registration is largely a formality at this stage, as the work is protected upon creation. This is just a minor administrative delay.

All publishing plans are still 100% on track. The release date remains firmly scheduled for January 6th.

(And yes, the irony of a government shutdown hiccup coinciding with a January 6th release date is certainly not lost on me! Just happens that the first Tuesday of January is on that day.)
